Refund policy

We want every family to feel confident ordering from us. If there is an issue with your order, we will help resolve it as quickly as possible.
This policy applies only to orders shipped within the United States and placed through mindkidztoys.com.
30-Day Return Window
You may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- Returned with all original parts included
- In its original packaging when possible
- In new or gently used condition
- Free from damage caused by misuse, improper assembly, neglect, or excessive wear
- Authorized by MINDKIDZ before being returned
The MINDKIDZ Wooden Fort Building Kit includes:
- 52 wooden rods
- 30 wooden connectors
- 82 total pieces
Returned kits must include all original parts unless our support team confirms otherwise in writing.
Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted or refunded.
How to Start a Return

- Your order number
- The email address used at checkout
- The reason for the return
- Photos or video if the item arrived damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing parts
We will review your request and reply with return instructions.
Depending on your location and the return method available, MINDKIDZ may provide return instructions that include:
- A QR code
- A drop-off option
- A printed return label
- A return merchandise authorization
- Other return shipping instructions
These return methods are provided only to help process the return. They do not mean that return shipping is free.
Please follow the return instructions carefully so your return can be processed correctly.
Return Shipping Costs
For returns due to:
- Change of mind
- Duplicate order
- No longer wanting the product
- Finding the product too difficult to assemble
- Any other reason not caused by damage, defect, missing parts, incorrect item, or MINDKIDZ error
the customer is responsible for return shipping and processing costs.
If MINDKIDZ provides a prepaid return label, QR code, drop-off option, or other return method for this type of return, a $14.95 return shipping and processing fee will be deducted from your refund.
MINDKIDZ will cover return or replacement costs only when the return is caused by:
- A damaged item
- A defective item
- An incorrect item
- Missing parts
- An error made by MINDKIDZ or our fulfillment partners
Original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Missing Items
Please inspect your order when it arrives.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing parts, contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

Please include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the shipping box
- Photos of the shipping label
- Photos or video showing the damaged, incorrect, or missing item
- A short description of the issue
Depending on the situation, we may offer:
- Replacement parts
- A replacement kit
- A return label or QR code
- A refund
For missing or damaged parts, replacement parts are usually the fastest solution.
For any safety-related concern, please stop using the product immediately and contact us.
Refunds
Once your return is delivered to our return center, it may take up to 7 days to be processed and inspected.
After the returned item is inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to post the refund.
For returns where the customer is responsible for return shipping and processing costs, the $14.95 return shipping and processing fee will be deducted from the approved refund.
We may reduce the refund amount further or decline the refund if:
- The kit is missing parts
- The item is damaged due to misuse, improper assembly, or excessive wear
- The item is not returned in acceptable condition
- The return was sent without authorization
- The returned item does not match the original order
Missing Parts
If your kit is missing a part, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

Please include your order number and a photo or video showing the issue.
In most cases, we will prioritize sending replacement parts instead of requiring a full return.
Lost Packages
If your order has not been delivered within 7 days after the estimated or guaranteed delivery date, contact us at:

We will investigate the shipment and may offer a replacement or refund depending on the result of the investigation.
Orders marked as delivered by the carrier are not automatically eligible for refund. We may use tracking information, delivery confirmation, proof of delivery, or carrier investigation results to determine the appropriate resolution.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Please make sure your shipping address is correct before placing your order.
Once an order has been sent to fulfillment, we may not be able to change or cancel it.
If an order cannot be delivered because of an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout, it may not be eligible for refund.
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at:

We will try to cancel the order if it has not yet entered the fulfillment process.
Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee cancellation. Once an order has been packed, shipped, assigned tracking, or handed to the carrier, it cannot usually be cancelled and must be handled as a return.
Exchanges and Replacement Parts
We handle exchanges case by case.

Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for:
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

- Items missing major components, unless approved by our support team
- Items returned without prior authorization
- Items that do not match the original order
- Gift cards or digital products, if applicable
- Final sale items, if clearly marked as final sale at checkout
International Returns
This policy applies only to orders shipped within the United States.
For orders shipped outside the United States, return options, return shipping costs, duties, taxes, and customs fees may vary. A separate international returns policy may apply.
